How the CI-online e-Learning Programmes Work

Currently four CI-online e-learning programmes have been developed. These are:

  • Act for Quality Conversion 2000 (AfQ Conversion 2000)
  • Act for Quality (AfQ)
  • Act for Environment (AfE)
  • Act for Health and Safety (AfHS)

When you purchase your e-learning package, a personal website will automatically be created for you, known as 'your folder'. When you log onto the CI-online site as a registered user, you will automatically be taken to 'your folder', where you will presented with a clear list of contents and options, including highlighted links to the elements that you have purchased within your chosen programme.

You will also have the option of bookmarking specific areas, which will then appear as a list the next time you log on and enable you to go directly to those items of particular interest. Additionally, the last page that you view before logging out will be recorded, affording the option of returning immediately to that page via a highlighted link the next time you log on.

Each of the seven activities will be listed on a vertical navigation bar. Clicking on any Activity will bring up the details of the chosen activity and the processes required to complete that section of the programme.

Each Activity contains a comprehensive checklist to help you verify that all tasks have been completed.

As you work through the self-paced Activities, you may upload outputs to the site. When a document is uploaded, you will have the option of allowing access to your selected consultant and / or Auditor.
